Chana Masala
Ingredients:
Black Bengal Gram(soaked overnight) 200 gms
Boiled Potatoes 2 pcs
Onion (chopped in juliennes) 2 pcs
Tomato (chopped) 1 pc
Ginger-garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Green Chilli 2 pcs
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Dhaniya Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt To taste
Procedure :
1. Put cooker on high flame.
2. Add oil and heat it.
3. Put cumin seeds and let it crackle, add onion and saute it till its golden brown.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute.
5. Add all the dry spices, salt and mix well.
6. Add tomatoes and saute till the oil separates.
7. Add bengal grams and mix well.
8. Add 2 cups of water and close the lid, wait until it gives 5-6 whistles.
9. Serve and enjoy hot.
